MSU Department of Pediatrics Publishes New Physical Diagnosis Textbook

A new textbook,The Pediatric Diagnostic Examination (New York: McGraw-Hill Medical Publishers, 813 pages, 2008), was released on October 20, 2007. This is a comprehensive but conveniently sized textbook for medical students and residents studying Pediatrics and is the pediatric version of the well-known DeGowan's Diagnostic Examination by McGraw-Hill now in its 8th edition.

The Editors are Professors of Pediatrics & Human Development at MSU College of Human Medicine in Kalamazoo: Donald E. Greydanus MD, Arthur N. Feinberg MD, Dilip R. Patel MD and Douglas N. Homnick MD with contributions from multiple Pediatrics and Human Development faculty at the East Lansing, Grand Rapids campuses. The FOREWORD was written by Jay Berkelhamer MD—the 2006-7 President of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
