Pediatric Grand Rounds are a weekly conference series designed for pediatricians, trainees, and others who are interested in the health care of children. The goal is to
provide continuing education on the latest scholarly and research information in pediatrics in order to improve the health care of children in our communities and across our State.
It takes place on Thursday mornings at 8 am in the main auditorium at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing. Pediatric Grand Rounds online is a program that started in January 2007 in order to provide access to this conference series to members of the pediatric community who may not be able to attend the conference in person. Currently,
individual conferences are recorded using Camtasia, a product which allows recording of a computer screen along with live audio. Files are compressed and then placed on MSU Storemedia (a free media storage site for MSU faculty) as windows media files.
A link to each storemedia file is then placed on MSU’s online learning environment, which is known as ANGEL, as a course, which also contains an evaluation tool.
All MSU faculty members have free access to the ANGEL courses and may search and access it at any time.Any non MSU faculty member can access the site for free using the instructions below. In order to access these presentations, you need to have access to ANGEL. For those of you who already have an ANGEL login and password, enter those on the ANGEL main page (
https://angel.msu.edu):
