Thank you to Laura for her distinguished contributions to the Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders as well as to the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development.  She makes countless efforts in each of her areas of responsibilities and all of which are critical to providing the best care to our patients and moving the entire Department forward.  Laura’s continued commitment to organizational success is evident in her daily efforts and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and is evident of the success of the CBCD clinics and the care received by the patients that she serves. She embodies the award category of Making People Matter in her daily interactions with patients, staff and care providers.

2016 Support Staff Awards 1 of 2Thank you to Lee Ann for her many contributions to our Department in her role as Nurse Clinician. Since joining this team she has established a constantly high level of work flow balancing chart preparation, patient and provider needs, clinical services and patient records. Lee Ann’s role as EMR “Super User” is greatly appreciated and very useful to the team. She has also been a very positive influence on Quality Improvement within the clinic. All of this has been accomplished using the many positive traits described in her letters of recommendation. These include a commitment to self- improvement, being a forward thinker, building an environment of trust, honesty, fairness, and respect and inclusiveness with ALL staff members, being thorough, hard-working, calm, steady, knowledgeable and flexible.
