Hurley Children's Hospital/Michigan State University General Academic Pediatrics Position, Part-Time or Full-Time, Flint, MI

As part of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Flint, MI Campus, Hurley Children's Hospital is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our General Academic Pediatrics faculty. The candidate(s) must be board certified in pediatrics. This is an academic position that involves teaching medical students and residents and participating as an active faculty member in the pediatric residency training program. Candidates must have strong interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, communication, tech savvy skills and a willingness to work with an urban population. The Hurley Children's Clinic espouses a community-based and population health philosophy with a unique prevention-focused location at the Flint Farmers Market. Applicants with additional background and training in public health are encouraged to apply. Opportunities to participate in school health and pediatric population health initiatives are also possible. Candidates may also qualify for a newly-established loan repayment program. A faculty appointment will be available with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.
