This week's Lansing Campus Pediatric Grand Rounds featured MSU Family Medicine emeritae William Wadland, MD, MS and James Peggs, MD, who, alongside psychiatrist Sonya Lewis, MD, MPH helped to more clearly define the role of the pediatrician in preventing gun violence against children. The three presenters work with Physicians for Prevention of Violence, "a Michigan physician organization dedicated to fostering a physician voice for reducing the epidemic of gun violence" in the United States.
